A Saint Paul ride without a GPS, I don't have a map. But we wandered Saint Paul quite a bit. At Calvary cemetary Matt's scoot stopped working. After a bit of fiddling Tom bodged up a classic rig which solved the issue. All I know is it involved a wire, grounding, and something about the seat.

A lovely if not a little chilly ride. Tom clocked it at a bit longer than the GPS indicated, but at least the speeds look good. :) It's getting later in the summer so the rides are ending in the dark. Makes for a completely different experience, and will affect how and where we ride.

We ended at Cafe Latte in Saint Paul and had some really good food.

TNR 9/7/10

Lack of inspiration made for an improvised ride. Lora was hungry for Spaghetti, so we decided to make that our goal. Ended up driving around a lot looking for a proper Italian restuarant but ended up at Galactic Pizza. They did have 3-d a menu but did not have spaghetti.

Blister Run 2010

1 Ride
2 Capitols
3 Nights
4 States

Thursday through Sunday I'm abandoning the family and heading out on the open road with my wild posse of scooter friends. Ok, maybe not wild. But I'll be gone. If you want to know about our progress, just scroll to the bottom of this page and look at the instamapper location. Should be just about live.

I'll likely be posting pictures at the end of the day to Facebook. Or I might blow that off and not update anything. But Facebook is where it's at if it's at at all.

We usually go through Duluth at some point (and hit the Hammond in Superior) on these trips (this is our 6th year) but this year we're heading south. Madison WI, Galena IL, Dubuque IA, back up the river. It's a moderately loose plan, but it has a lot of miles and nobody will believe we "rode those things all this way" just like always.

See you in ~700 miles..
